Rotary Racer History
The Rotary Racer team started with a kit car in 2005 as an initiative by the school to get sons working with their dads on a project. Ever since, the team has grown to include both girls and boys in sixth form and in the main school. This is a page to show the growth of the team year by year to get to where we are now.
The 4th year Rotary Racer won the national final, managing to get a hatrick! This year we made a new car, RR9, so check out this page to see about how we made it.
The 3rd time Rotary Racer gain national champion status, winning the national final by just minutes infront of rivals, Dougal.
Rotary Racer gain national champion status for the second time.
Rotary Racer gain 3rd place in the national final despite problems with the car on the day.
2009 was the best year for Rotary Racer so far, managing to achieve top position at the greenpower national final!
