Electronics Project - battery Charger

Purpose

To be able to charge multiple Greenpower batteries well. Will have the following features:

• Extendable for a large number of batteries.
• Charges each battery independantly with an "intelligent" algorithm managing current and voltage.
• Top up charge ability to make sure batteries are fully charged.
• Logs the charge provide to give indications of battery status.
• Core system can be built by pupils.
• Programmable so that discharge/charge tests can be run and batteries cycled.

Possible features

• Internet access to see the state of charge and battery charge history.
